Press Launch of 'Ring Room' at Richard Ogden, Burlington Arcade, Piccadilly

Last week was the Press Launch of the 'Ring Room' at Richard Ogden Ltd, in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee and the company’s own 60th anniversary.  It was exciting photographing this event in the prestigious Burlington Arcade, Piccadilly, which is one of Britain's first shopping arcades unveiled in 1819.  This event, organised by Sarah Ducker, showcased exquisite work including bridal couture by Phillipa Lepley and Gwen Russell, Tiaras by Andrew Prince and wedding cakes by Peggy Porschen.  An absolute haven for brides to be!  You can still visit to see the displays at 28 Burlington Arcade from 6 - 9 June.

RAW CRAFT Touring Exhibition

RAW CRAFT, Fine Thinking In Contemporary Furniture, was launched at COLLECT 2012.  This touring exhibition is produced by the Crafts Council with Brent Dzekciorius and Michael Marriott as curatorial advisors.

CLAY OLYMPICS 2012, Central Saint Martins

Central Saint Martin's ceramics department were hosting the Clay Olympics 2012, at the exciting new building in Kings Cross.  This event marks the end of this year's Firing Up programme, an initiative set up by the Crafts Council to raise importance of clay and ceramics in education.  The event also featured a pop up exhibition with work made by secondary school pupils.
