QUEEN SONJA OF NORWAY VISITS TENT LONDON 2013

Tent London 2013 had a very exciting visit from Queen Sonja of Norway.   Fair Director, Jimmy McDonald takes her on a tour from 100% Norway through Tent London and Super Design Gallery and ending with a visit to KHiB Gallery where the Queen spent time talking to the makers and looking at their work.  Meanwhile, press photographers covered every corner of the fair!

REAL TO REEL AT DESIGN JUNCTION 2013

Another great show at Design Junction during London Design Festival 2013.  The Crafts Council  were presenting a daily film screening programme in a bespoke pop up cinema designed by architects Carmody Groarke, among other fantastic installations. 

'Another Land' Exhibition by Katie Thornton, St Pancras Crypt Gallery

Another Land is a stunning exhibition of sculptures and paintings by Katie Thornton.  Perfectly set in the incredible Crypt Gallery of St Pancras Parish Church opposite Euston station.  The shapes of the crypt alcoves complement her colourful work displayed against the old brick walls.  Find out more here.
