I've been photographing at the Urban Picnic event this bank holiday weekend and here are some of the photos of the Saturday event by the canal at Hackney Wick. Gareth Neal - Urban Picnic

I had the pleasure of photographing furniture maker Gareth Neal's new picnic table, fresh off the workbench. Traditional inlayed veneer patterns feature in a range of beautifully crafted objects designed for the upcoming event, The Urban Picnic which takes place on 28 - 29th August 2010. Free event, open to all.

COLLECT exhibition at Saatchi Gallery

I was commissioned to photograph at COLLECT 2010, the international art fair for contemporary objects. Here are some photographs of the talks programme hosted by CRAFTS Magazine, and also general shots of the fair.

Syon House

Recently I've had the opportunity to visit Syon House and see the magnificent building located in West London built in the 1500's and today, home of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland. I borrowed a Canon 24mm tilt/shift lens to try out - beautiful!

The Serpentine Gallery summer pavilion

Here are some photos I've taken of the new pavilion at the Serpentine Gallery. Designed by Jean Nouvel. It's very red. You can't miss it! It will be up until 17 October 2010 and definitely worth a visit.
